Worth More Than Rubies

Discover Your True Worth in God

God has birthed this ministry to cause effective, positive change in the people we serve by encouraging them to be their best for God.

About Worth More Than Rubies Ministries

God has birthed this ministry to cause effective, positive change in the people I serve, their families and their communities, by motivating and encouraging them to be their best for God. I desire to be an example of the Titus 2:3-5 and Proverbs 31 woman. I believe in the Psalms 11:25 which says, She who refreshes others will herself be refreshed; therefore, I try to be transparent as I speak and write about my valley to mountain experiences.I have the vision to see as many people healed, saved and delivered by God’s grace, and empowered by the Holy Spirit to to do the work God has called them to do.

The works of the Devil are affliction, bondage, oppression, sin and other manifestations of wickedness too numerous in fact to recount. The LORD Jesus Christ destroyed those works and continues to do so today in the lives of all who seek deliverance in His Holy name. Jesus did this to demonstrate that in a world plagued by wickedness; you have a choice to live under the oppressive yoke of the Devil and his kingdom of darkness or live in the excellence of His Spirit and power.

This ministry is geared towards the church and global communities respectively. It is designed to facilitate the understanding and appreciation of deliverance as a valid and relevant ministry for the 21st Century; still very much alive in the Kingdom of God.

Are there Many Paths to God? Teaching point one: All religions are not basically the same.

Discover the Eternal Principles

You’ve probably heard people say through the years that there may be distinctions between various world religions, but if you strip them down to their essentials, all religions fundamentally teach the same thing. In other words, all spiritual paths lead up the same mountain because all religions basically teach the brotherhood and the sisterhood of men and women and the universal fatherhood of God.

Let’s concede that there is some commo… Continue

Seven Reasons Not to Worry: Reason 1

The same way God who created life can be trusted with the details of your life.

Matthew 6:25Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?

Are There Many Paths to God?

Lee Strobel on Jesus Christ - Study 1

There is only one way to heaven, and that is through Jesus Christ.

Jesus made the outrageous claim that he is the only way to God. Why is this claim so controversial? One reason is that it strikes at the core of three great myths about religion: 1) All religions are basically the same; 2) Christianity is simply one philosophy among many; and 3) Christians are arrogant to think Jesus is the only way to heaven. This study challenges th

Rethinking Women's Ministry Teaching point three: Jesus’ ministry was “out of the box.”

While Jesus certainly did his fair share of preaching to the masses, he ministered most memorably and movingly through his out-of-the box methods—which often meant meeting the needs of individual people. We see this in his miraculous healings and specific teachings. Read John 4:7–26.

In this passage, Jesus does what no self-respecting Jew would’ve done—he speaks to a “lowly” Samaritan. And a woman no less! But here he shows us not only a powerful image of ministering to women, but that h… Continue

SERMON FOR THE WEEK - 02/23/2010 by Rev. Janet Marston "FREE HAS A PRICE"

[NOTE - I changed my title to SERMON from devotional - because a devotional is supposed to be short, and God has directed me to do more for now - when God wants me to do devotionals, then I will title them like that. Either way, sermon or devotional, it's all FOOD FOR THE SPIRIT! GOD IS GOOD! AMEN!]

Healing and Deliverance

Listen to these ministry minutes
Living in Victory
God Cares

Get Free From GUILT – FEAR – REJECTION – CONDEMNATION – HURTS – BITTERNESS Most of us experience some degree of negative circumstances in our life. For many, however, the negative emotions have become an oppressive, destructive force that dominates our existence.

RAGE – ANGER – LUST – ADDICTIONS – PORNOGRAPHY – CHRONIC LYING

We do things we don’t want to do, and act in ways that are contrary to who we want to be. It seems that we are struggling against forces stronger than we are.

CHRONIC DEPRESSION – PHYSICAL INFIRMITIES – FINANCIAL BLOCKAGE

We want our lives to be free of these lies, deceptions and crippling conditions. We may have tried self-discipline, self-help programs, counseling, behavior modification, medication and every other way to overcome our problems, but still are unable to get free.

Sometimes, the problems are more than just bad habits and destructive behavior

The only self help we need is to help ourselves into the presence of God for healing and deliverance.
